A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ALISON
Alison
I have always enjoyed the benefits of water and swimming ever since I was small, and went on to obtain my honours in personal survival, my RLSS resuscitation and bronze medallion qualifications whilst still at school.
Qualification
I hold the ASA Level 2 Teaching Certificate, the STA Baby & Pre-school Aquatic Level 2 Certificate, and am NARS (STA National Rescue) & First Aid qualified, and also regularly attend CPD courses to keep my qualifications up to date.
Experience
I have also enjoyed working with children in the nursery environment in the past, teaching swimming and P.E. to the same age group and also have two daughters of my own whom both swim.
The Legal bit
Alison does most of the teaching personally, is CRB checked and insured both with the STA and the ASA. This insurance includes public and civil liability insurance.
However any instructors used are fully qualified in baby & pre-school aquatic teaching. They are all personally insured through the ASA/STA and hold a registered lifesaving qualification and are CRB checked.
